He will be leading a significant 60-member business delegation, comprising representatives from major Indian industry bodies such as CII, FICCI, ASSOCHAM, as well as the Start-up India initiative.· Piyush Goyal will visit Israel to review FTA talks and strengthen bilateral trade, investment, and technology cooperation.· A 60-member Indian business delegation will join meetings with Israeli ministers, industry leaders, and innovation hubs.During this trip, Goyal is expected to engage in high-level bilateral dialogues with top Israeli ministers. The agenda is broad: it includes trade and investment, but also key sectors like agriculture, water management, defence, life sciences, advanced manufacturing, infrastructure, and emerging technologies. One of the central topics will be the review of the proposed IndiaIsrael Free Trade Agreement (FTA). As part of the program, Piyush Goyal will participate in the IndiaIsrael Business Forum, which will feature plenary sessions, technical workshops, and structured B2B engagements to promote investments and foster joint ventures. He will also take part in the fourth CEOs Forum, which brings together senior corporate leaders from both nations. On the business front, Piyush Goyal plans to meet key Israeli company executives working in areas such as agriculture, desalination, cyber security, smart mobility, and infrastructure. He will also tour important Israeli innovation hubs and institutions in Tel Aviv to better understand Israel's advanced tech ecosystem. In addition, his itinerary includes engagements with the Indian diaspora in Israel and business leaders of Indian origin.Overall, this visit is intended to reinforce the strategic economic partnership between India and Israel, deepen mutual cooperation, and explore fresh avenues for trade, investment, and innovation.
