    If we look at the latest Bloomberg Billionaires Index, Jezz Bezos has finally dethroned Elon Musk to become the wealthiest individual in the world. As the race towards becoming the wealthiest person in the world continues, we will look at the latest changes in the hierarchy of richest people. This list includes prominent figures from the world of business such as Jeff Bezos, Elon Musk, Warren Buffett, Larry Ellison, and Larry Page, among others.

    Looking at their positioning on the esteemed Bloomberg list of billionaires, these giants of industry constantly compete for the coveted title of the richest man in the world.

    Jeff Bezos

    Leading the Bloomberg Billionaires Index with a net worth of staggering USD 200 Billion is the founder of Amazon, Jeff Bezos. He has now become the world’s richest person.

    Elon Musk

    Elon Musk had enjoyed the status of being the world’s richest individual for quite a time until now. He has now been made to exit from this stature by Jeff Bezos. Currently, he has been placed at the second position due to the decline in his net worth to USD 198 billion.

    Bernard Arnault

    Overseeing a conglomerate of luxury brands, the chairman and CEO of LVMH Moet Henessy Louis Vuitton, Bernard Arnault enjoys the third position with a current net worth of about USD 197 billion as per the index.

    Mark Zukerberg

    Mark Zuckerberg, Co-Founder and CEO of Facebook (now Meta), acquires fourth position wherein his wealth is primarily driven by his ownership stake in the company. To talk about his net worth, it stands at a whopping USD 179 Billion.

    Bill Gates

    One of the individuals who has since long positioned himself among the world’s richest people is the Co-Founder of Microsoft Bill Gates. Although he has stepped down from his day-to-day role at Microsoft, his wealth and net worth still stands at an incredible USD 150 Billion.

    According to the index, Steve Ballmer’s net worth amounts to USD 143 Billion and enjoys  the sixth position on the list of richest people in the world.

    Warren Buffet

    Warren Buffet, also renownedly known as the Oracle of Omaha, is one of the most successful investors and holds the seventh position in the list. his current net worth is USD 133 Billion where his wealth is primarily derived from his investment company Berkshire Hathaway.

    Larry Ellison

    If we look at the eighth position, Co-Founder of Oracle Corporation, Larry Ellison’s current net worth is USD 129 Billion wherein, his wealth generation comes from his ownership stake in the software company (Oracle Corporation).

    Larry Page

    The 9th Rank on the list is Larry Page, Co-Founder of Google (now Alphabet Inc.) with a networth of USD 122 Billion.

    Sergey Brin

    Lastly, the 10th position is secured by another Co-Founder of Google, Sergey Brin whose wealth almost mirrors that of Larry Page. His current net worth is USD 116 according to the Bloomberg index which is primarily driven from his ownership stake in Alphabet.
