AI startup Vectorial has raised $3 million funding led by SenseAI Ventures to advance its AI-powered human behaviour simulation technology. The company is developing tools that help businesses predict how users may respond to software products, digital experiences and marketing campaigns without relying solely on conventional surveys and interviews.
Key Highlights
-
AI startup Vectorial raised $3 million funding led by SenseAI Ventures to develop AI-powered human behaviour simulation tools for businesses.
-
The startup claims to have modelled 2.5 million people globally and conducted over 30,000 AI simulations.
The funding round also saw participation from Smilegate, Berkeley SkyDeck, Berkeley AI Research Lab, Dent Capital, Motus Ventures and SUM Ventures. Several angel investors, including product leaders from Meta, Shopify and Mastercard, also participated.
Vectorial Raises $3 Million to Expand AI-Based Behaviour Simulation
Vectorial is an artificial intelligence-powered firm, co-founded by Taranveer Singh, Rahul Garg and Jasmine Kaur, that mimics human behaviour to assess product concepts in the process of bringing them to market.
It's platform is an alternative to conventional user research techniques, providing businesses with the option to test product concepts and digital experiences with the help of artificial intelligence simulations. The tech aims to provide businesses with insights into their customers' preferences and habits, and may also streamline the testing of products.
Vectorial claims to have modelled more than 2.5 million people worldwide, comprising of 500,000 Indians, and ran more than 30,000 simulations. It serves customers like boAt, GoodRx, Suki AI, Everkind and Concrete Software from various industries, including health care, gaming and ecommerce.
Vectorial’s SAPIENS Model Uses AI to Predict Human Behaviour
The heart of Vectorial's technology lies in its SAPIENS model that creates virtual audiences on both web and mobile platforms, as well as in AI-based applications, based on socio-demographic, psychographic and behavioural data.
The model is intended to put the various user groups in perspective to the extent that they might react to product characteristics, interfaces, marketing communication and digital experiences. Companies can conduct simulations before releasing products or campaigns, helping them understand the potential outcomes and adjust their strategies accordingly.
Vectorial says that human behaviour is 30% easier to predict than with general-purpose large language models (LLMs) and that SAPIENS is more accurate. The company also claims that its simulations are accurate to over 85% from previous user studies.
The capabilities place the startup in the new market of AI-powered user research, where businesses are seeking to integrate traditional research with faster insights from simulating user interactions.

Vectorial Customers Run Hundreds of Simulations Monthly
According to the company, its users run some 600 simulations per month – which is about 40 user studies. Their platform allows their customers to do up to 20 times more research than they did before.
This method is designed to find out the reaction of customers and make decisions on which ideas to proceed with before investing resources into development or marketing campaigns.
Simulation based systems like Vectorial are designed to bring the insights of behaviour to the mainstream of products development and customer research processes, which become more and more dependent on AI in recent years.
The fresh startup funding is expected to support the its continued development of AI-based human behaviour simulation tools and its efforts to serve businesses seeking data-driven approaches to product innovation.
