With the help of FJ Labs and other investors, Eximius Ventures led the $1 million seed investment round for Amicco, a business-to-business marketplace for auto spare parts. The money raised will be utilized to fortify its go-to-market initiatives, enhance its tech platform, and broaden its network of independent garages.
Amicco, which was founded in 2024 by Vivek Aalok, makes it easier for garages to obtain spare parts at competitive prices with quicker delivery.
After witnessing the inefficiencies in the auto aftermarket firsthand, Vivek, a former Wall Street and Spinny employee, founded Amicco.
Amicco, which is presently operating in Gurugram, intends to expand to more Indian cities. Its technology aims to improve customer service, decrease downtime, and increase transparency in a highly fragmented business.
The primary investor in this round, Eximius Ventures, is a pre-seed stage venture fund that specializes in supporting early-stage businesses in the gaming, online media, fintech, SaaS, and healthtech sectors. Among its well-known portfolio firms are Eka.care, Skydo, STAN, and Jar.
Recently, in a pre-seed fundraising round headed by 100X.VC and angel investors Arjun Pillai and Prasanna Venkatesan (former CTO of ZoomInfo India), Scoutflo, a DevOps business driven by AI, has raised Rs. 1.4 crore.
Its AI features, deployment automation, security, and market expansion will all be improved with the money raised. In order to increase its user base and provide additional beneficial synergies, it also seeks to establish partnerships.
Scoutflo, which was founded in 2024, assists developers in managing cloud infrastructure and deploying code without substantially depending on DevOps teams. Artificial intelligence is used by the platform to automate deployment, resolve problems, and guarantee robust security and compliance. It helps organizations avoid being dependent on just one cloud provider by supporting a variety of cloud services, including AWS, GCP, Azure, and Civo.
