Bajaj Auto sales increase 20% in March, driven by robust domestic demand and strong export performance across two-wheelers and commercial vehicles. The company reported total sales of 4,45,377 units, up from 3,69,823 units in the same month last year, reflecting a sharp increase in volumes.

Bajaj Auto sales jump as both domestic and international markets contributed to the overall performance. Domestic sales increased to 2,66,290 units, up from 2,21,474 units a year ago, highlighting steady demand in the Indian market.
The two-wheeler segment remained the key growth driver. Domestic two-wheeler sales rose to 2,21,021 units, registering a 20% increase from 1,83,659 units in March last year.
Exports of two-wheelers also recorded strong growth, rising 21% to 1,59,452 units compared to 1,32,073 units in the same period last year, reinforcing Bajaj Auto’s strong global presence and export-led strategy.
Commercial vehicle volumes also witnessed solid growth during March. Total commercial vehicle sales stood at 64,904 units, up 20% from 54,091 units in the year-ago month.
Domestic commercial vehicle sales increased to 45,269 units from 37,815 units, while exports rose 21% to 19,635 units, compared to 16,276 units last year, supported by strong demand for three-wheelers and last-mile mobility solutions.
Exports remained a key growth pillar of Bajaj Auto, with total exports (two-wheelers + commercial vehicles) rising to 1,79,087 units in March 2026, compared to 1,48,349 units in the same month last year—marking a 21% year-on-year increase.
The company continues to benefit from strong demand across emerging markets, with exports historically contributing a significant share of total volumes and acting as a major growth driver. A company statement said, “Strong export momentum alongside steady domestic demand supported overall sales growth in March.”
