The Central Bank of India (CBI) is set to organize a Mega Agriculture Credit Outreach Programme on November 14, 2025, under its Hyderabad Zone, encompassing branches across Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, and Karnataka. The initiative aims to extend financial inclusion and support the rural economy by facilitating easy access to various agricultural credit schemes.

As part of the programme, the bank will focus on creating awareness among farmers, self-help groups (SHGs), and rural entrepreneurs about a wide range of financial products designed to strengthen the agricultural value chain. These include loans for cold storage facilities, food processing units, poultry farms, farm mechanisation, and solar energy projects under the PM-KUSUM scheme. The outreach is also expected to highlight credit facilities for dairy farming, horticulture, and allied activities that promote rural employment and income generation.
During the event, bank officials will not only provide detailed information about loan eligibility and documentation but also offer on-the-spot sanctions and disbursal of loans to eligible beneficiaries. The initiative will also serve as a platform to connect farmers with government-backed schemes such as PM Fasal Bima Yojana and Kisan Credit Card (KCC).
