    Delhi has the Third-highest Per Capita Income after Goa and Sikkim, at Rs 461.9K

    According to the most recent statistical handbook, Delhi had the third-highest per capita income in the nation in 2023–24, after Goa and Sikkim, at Rs 4,61,910.

    According to the document, the city's per capita income was more than twice as high as the Rs 1,84,205 per capita income at the national level.

    The Delhi government publishes an annual guidebook that includes a variety of socioeconomic, demographic, and infrastructure-related data about the nation's capital.

    The city's per capita income increased by 7.4% year, according to the guidebook.

    The number of automobiles on the highways of the nation's capital decreased significantly from 12.2 million in 2020–21 to 7.945 million in 2022–23.

    Delhi's school numbers fell from 5,666 in 2020–21 to 5,497 in 2023–24. Nonetheless, throughout the same time period, the number of enrolled students increased somewhat for both males and girls.

    In 2020–21, there were 2.36 million male students and 2.119 million female students. According to the data, it rose to 2.37 million and 2.136 million in 2023–2024.

    In 2021–2022, there were 2.54 million municipal water connections; in 2023–2024, that figure rose to 2.72 million. It revealed that within the same time period, the daily water use increased from 6,894 lakh kiloliters to 7,997 lakh kiloliters.

    Compared to 137 in 2022, there were 147 movie theaters in 2023, an increase of 10.

    According to the handbook numbers, the average number of shows also grew from 623 to 740, with 10,000 viewers every day.
