NephroPlus, a supplier of dialysis services, reported a 29 percent rise in operating revenue for the fiscal year that ended in March 2024. Importantly, the Hyderabad-based business made money during that time, which was a significant turnaround from its FY23 loss of Rs. 12 crore.
NephroPlus' consolidated financial statement, which was obtained from the Registrar of Companies (RoC), shows that its operating revenue increased from Rs 438 crore in FY23 to Rs. 566 crore in FY24.
NephroPlus treats about 20,000 patients each month at more than 275 dialysis facilities spread across more than 170 Indian cities. In FY24, 95 percent of the company's revenue came from these services.
On the expense side, the cost of materials continued to be the biggest contributor, rising 19 percent to Rs. 169 crore, or more than 31 percent of the overall expenditure. Healthcare professional fees increased by 90 percent to Rs. 59 crore, while employee benefit expenses decreased marginally to Rs. 91 crore from Rs. 97 crore in FY23.
