DLF Ltd, a major real estate developer, intends to launch housing projects worth more than Rs 17,000 crore this fiscal year to capitalize on the strong demand for luxury homes.
According to DLF's most recent investor presentation, the company sold 7.5 million square feet of land during the previous fiscal year, with an estimated potential revenue of Rs 40,600 crore.
Out of this, the company sold 5 million square feet in the last fiscal year for Rs 19,344 crore.
DLF Ltd stated at the start of the fiscal year 2024-25 that it planned to launch a 37 million square foot area in the medium term, with a total revenue potential of Rs 1,14,500 crore.
The business claims that "about 35% has already been launched in FY25; approximately 15% is planned to launch in FY26."
'The Dahlias' is a super luxury project that DLF launched in the fiscal year 2024-25. It has a total saleable area of 4.5 million square feet and a potential sales value of Rs 35,000 crore.
According to DLF, sales bookings for this project totaled Rs 13,744 crore in the previous fiscal year, indicating that the company has received encouraging demand.
"Our brand's strength and dedication to customer-centricity are demonstrated by the humble response to our most recent offering." This has resulted in the monetization of approximately 39% of the project's estimated total sales potential within the first year of launch," DLF stated.
On Monday, the company reported record sales bookings of Rs 21,223 crore for 2024-25, up 44 percent from Rs 14,778 crore in the previous fiscal year.
"We are confident that there will be a steady demand for our products in the housing market, and we plan to build on this momentum by launching well-balanced new product offerings from a robust and varied pipeline," DLF said.
Over 185 real estate projects totaling more than 352 million square feet have been developed by DLF since its founding.
DLF Group has 280 million square feet of development potential across residential and commercial segments, including ongoing projects and pipeline.
The group's annuity portfolio exceeds 45 million square feet.
DLF's primary business is to develop and sell residential properties (the Development Business), as well as to develop and lease commercial and retail properties (the Annuity Business).
