Gurugram-based Seeds Fincap has raised more than Rs 100 crore ($10.4 million) in a Series B funding round led by the Michael & Susan Dell Foundation. Existing investors Z47 and Lok Capital participated alongside Norinchukin Capital and Alteria Capital.

The fresh funding will facilitate the company's expansion into new markets and enhance its branch network, technology and risk management systems. While remaining on credit assessment and quality of its portfolio, Seeds Fincap aims to grow assets under management (AUM) to Rs 1,000 crore by March 2027.
Seeds Fincap Raises Over Rs 100 Crore in Series B Funding
This is the next capital injection that Seeds Fincap has received in its growth of lending activities. In 2025, Z47 and Lok Capital led a fundraised worth Rs 50 crores ($5.5 million).
In a Series A round, led by Lok Capital and Matrix Partners India, Seeds Fincap raised over $8.5 million earlier this year in July 2024. The latest round brings together existing and new investors as the NBFC looks to expand its reach among underserved borrowers.
Seeds Fincap Targets Rs 1,000 Crore AUM by March 2027
Seeds Fincap plans to use the newly raised capital to expand its presence in additional markets and strengthen its existing operations. The company is focusing on increasing its branch network while investing in technology and risk management.
It is targeting Rs 1,000 crore in AUM by March 2027. As of August 2026, its AUM stood at Rs 722 crore. The company had expanded its network to 164 branches and served more than 70,000 active members.
Seeds Fincap Reports Profitability and Rs 620 Crore Disbursals
Seeds Fincap closed both FY25 and FY26 profitably, according to the company. It disbursed around Rs 620 crore in loans during FY26, reflecting the scale of its lending operations.
The NBFC concentrates on individual borrowers and small businesses and nano enterprises that might be deprived of conventional credit. It provides loans from Rs 50,000 to Rs 10 lakh which employ a cash flow-based approach to evaluate borrowers.

Gurugram-based Seeds Fincap Focuses on MSME and Underserved Borrowers
Founded in 2021 by Subhash Chandra Acharya, Avishek Sarkar and Sumeet Dhall, Seeds Fincap provides credit to underserved individuals and micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs).
The company focuses on businesses whose cash flows may not be fully captured by conventional credit assessment methods. Its lending model combines technology with field teams involved in sourcing, onboarding, credit assessment, documentation, collections and portfolio monitoring.
Through these operations, Seeds Fincap aims to provide loans to small business owners while maintaining its focus on portfolio quality. The latest funding is expected to support its expansion plans as it works towards its AUM target for March 2027.
