Finance Outlook India Team | Wednesday, 21 October 2026

HD Fire Protect shares made a strong stock market debut on Wednesday, October 21, listing at a premium of nearly 24% over the initial public offering (IPO) price of Rs 271 per share. The stock listed at Rs 335 on the National Stock Exchange (NSE), marking a 23.62% premium, while it opened at Rs 334.40 on the BSE, up 23.39% from the issue price.

    Key Highlights

    • HD Fire Protect shares listed at Rs 335 on NSE, delivering a 23.62% premium over the IPO issue price.

    • The IPO attracted 131.70 times subscription, led by strong institutional demand and substantial participation from non-institutional investors.

The strong debut followed an overwhelming response to the company’s public offering, which was subscribed 131.70 times during the three-day bidding period. Investors are now assessing whether to book listing gains or continue holding the shares for potential long-term returns.

HD Fire Protect Share Price Listing and Listing Gains

The price at which HD Fire Protect was listed on the NSE was Rs 335 per share compared with an IPO price of Rs 271. The stock started trading at Rs 334.40 on the BSE. The listing returns were Rs 64 on NSE and Rs 63.40 on BSE per share to the investors over the issue price.

The strong debut was broadly in line with market expert Anil Singhvi’s pre-listing expectations. Singhvi, Managing Editor of Zee Business, had projected a listing range of Rs 325 to Rs 340 and recommended applying for the IPO with a view to both listing gains and long-term investment potential.

HD Fire Protect Shares: What Should Investors Do Now?

After the listing, investors need to evaluate their investment price, risk level and investment term to determine whether they should buy or sell stocks.

Anil Singhvi had recommended that investors who have a low risk appetite should keep the stop loss below Rs 300. Investors who are getting the allotment can consider the gain on such allotment against their financial targets, investors who are thinking to enter in the new allotment should look into the business prospects and financial performance of the company as well as the listing premium.

A strong debut does not guarantee further price appreciation. Investors should also account for possible volatility as the market continues to discover the stock’s value after listing.
