Ashok Leyland reports Q1 Profit Growth
Commercial vehicle maker Ashok Leyland reported a modest rise in first-quarter profit, with consolidated net profit increasing about 2% year-on-year to ₹668 crore and revenue rising 10% to INR 10,750 crore.
Its shares gained in early trading following the results, with analysts from Citi and Nomura assessing the stock’s outlook.
Voltas posts 52 Percent Jump in Q1 profit
Tata Group company Voltas remains in focus after consolidated net profit surged 52% year-on-year in the June quarter, while revenue grew 19%.
However, the company missed revenue expectations and continued to face weakness in some non-room-air-conditioner businesses, prompting a cautious stance from Goldman Sachs.
Patanjali Foods profit rises 86 Percent
Patanjali Foods reported an 86 percent year-on-year jump in consolidated Q1 profit to INR 335.7 crore, compared with Rs 180.4 crore a year earlier.
Revenue also increased to INR 11,337 crore, putting the FMCG company among the key stocks investors are watching after the weekend results.

Dhoot Transmission is scheduled to list on the BSE and NSE today after its IPO generated strong investor interest.
