Kalyani Developers, located in Bengaluru, wants to invest approximately Rs 5,300 crore in South Indian housing and hospitality projects.
The company announced its entry into the residential market, with three projects planned for North Bengaluru, Whitefield, and Kanakapura Main Road,in a statement issued on Thursday.
In addition, the business plans to build a mixed-use property in Hyderabad.
"The total investment in these projects would be roughly Rs 4,500 crore over the next two years. The company also plans to invest Rs 800 crore on two hotels in North Bengaluru, each with 300 rooms," it added.
"With over 75 showrooms in Bangalore, Mysore, and Hyderabad, we have built a solid reputation in commercial real estate, hospitality, automobiles, and renewable energy over the last three decades," stated A Mohan Raju, Managing Director and CEO of Kalyani Developer.
He continued by saying that the organization has a great opportunity to capitalize on its heritage and experience in the residential market.
"The construction of all projects will be handled by our in-house team, which boasts over 30 years of expertise and has successfully delivered 12 million+ square feet of commercial spaces," Raju stated.
