Mutual Fund BI has declared the opening of an open-ended equity program with an innovation focus called the SBI Innovative Opportunities Fund.

Monday, July 29, 2024 is when the SBI Innovative Opportunities Fund Offer started, and Monday, August 12, 2024 is when it ends.

"Investing in equity and equity-related instruments of companies that aim to profit from the adoption of innovative strategies & theme is how the scheme provides investors with opportunities for long-term capital appreciation." Nevertheless, there can be no guarantee that the Scheme's investment goal will be accomplished. The Nifty 500 TRI would serve as the fund's benchmark, according to an announcement from the business.

The fund would primarily allocate a) 80%–100% of its assets to equities and equity-related instruments of businesses looking to gain from the implementation of novel strategies and themes (including equity derivatives); the remaining assets would be distributed as follows: b) 0–20% in equities and equity-related instruments (such as equity derivatives) of firms not listed abovec) 0–20% in debt and debt-related instruments (money market instruments, such as tri-party reposd), securitized debt (up to 20% of the scheme's debt portion), and debt derivatives; d) 0–10% in units issued by REITs and InvITs, with the exposure in accordance with SEBI limits that are periodically specified.

Subject to rules, the fund may look for investment possibilities in international assets, such as debt securities, overseas exchange-traded funds (ETFs), foreign equity, and ADRs/GDRs. Such an investment will be in accordance with the highest limitations sometimes made accessible and may not surpass 35% of the scheme's net assets. Please refer to the Scheme Information Document for a complete asset allocation.
