Bessemer Venture Partners sponsored a $10 million seed fundraising round for the pre-construction AI platform MeltPlan, which included participation from Noa. With this round, the company has raised $14 million in total capital.
Key Highlights
- MeltPlan secures $10 Mn seed funding led by Bessemer to accelerate product development and expansion.
- Investment will strengthen platform capabilities, talent acquisition, and global market reach.
According to a press release from MeltPlan, the money raised will be utilized to create a "planning engine" for the construction sector and speed up product development across code, cost, schedule, and value decision processes.
Kanav Hasija and Tanmaya Kala co-founded MeltPlan in 2025 with the goal of developing a construction-native AI system that can comprehend building codes, materials, sequencing, procurement, and construction techniques. The organization is trying to broaden its knowledge of all the trades and disciplines involved in construction planning, and the system has already achieved a score of 95% or higher on building inspector tests.
MeltPlan is creating the missing layer—software that optimizes choices and trade-offs upstream, before scope is locked, procurement starts, and change orders become unavoidable—while design software maximizes use and aesthetics and construction software concentrates on execution and control.
Four integrated systems will make up the Planning Engine, according to MeltPlan: a code system that gives architects, engineers, and inspectors context-aware compliance pathways; a cost system; a schedule system; and a value system that gives owners and developers optimization recommendations and value-impact analyses.

By strengthening planning, identifying restrictions and trade-offs early, bringing stakeholders together before plans are finalized, and lowering the need for late-stage redlines, rework, and change orders, MeltPlan claimed it hopes to make construction "boring."
The business also mentioned that it is assisting top enterprise contractors with their pre-construction and planning stages, including DPR Construction in California and Innovo Group in the United Arab Emirates.
