Nazara Technologies invested ₹4.74 crore in two international gaming venture capital funds. In an exchange filing, the company said it has committed $300k (approximately ₹2.6 crore) to Play Ventures Fund III and $250k (approximately ₹2.14 crore) to F4 Venture Fund I.
These global funds are geared toward early-stage gaming startups. It is important to note that Nazara invested in these global funds as a limited partner.

This is not Nazara's first investment in these funds; in May 2024, the gaming giant invested up to $2 million in Play Venture Fund III and up to $250k in F4 Venture Fund I.
Play Ventures Fund, based in Singapore, supports gaming startups from the pre-seed to Series A stages. Its $140 million Fund III is focused on mobile gaming, AI-powered tools, and gaming infrastructure. So far, the VC firm has invested in early-stage startups such as Defi Alliance, Cypher, and M League.

In contrast, industry veterans David Kaye and Joakim Achren founded F4 Fund in 2023. It is based in the United States and helps gaming entrepreneurs launch businesses in fields such as AI, SaaS, consumer tech, and social platforms. The fund has made investments in the United States, the United Arab Emirates, and other countries, from seed to Series B. Its portfolio companies include Noice, Baby.AI, and After Hour.
