Nutritionist-led Brand phab purses $2 Million Seed Fund

Finance Outlook India Team | Friday, 25 April 2025

The nutritionist-led brand phab secured $2 million through its seed funding round organized by OTP Ventures while Capri Global and Sim&San law firm and various other angel investors also participated.

The funding will support growth capital requirements and capital expenditure investments as well as team expansion and the strengthening of phab's operations in India through online and offline platforms according to the company stated in its press release. The co-founders Gayatri and Ankit Chona launched phab during 2022 as a company producing high-flavour high-protein snacks that deliver indulgent nutritional benefits.

Phab exists to deliver healthy protein supplements with excellent taste and nutrition-based snack products. The Mumbai-based firm states its line includes protein milkshakes and protein powders with energy bars that serve customers who need protein boost options in convenient and tasty forms. Phab uses scientific methods as its core direction when developing food because nutritionists and scientists work together with chefs to produce products that satisfy nutritional requirements.

The brand intends to create nationwide market reach by implementing a digital and quick commerce and general and modern trade distribution strategy while expanding its team operations and launching new categories of products.

Phab has achieved more than two million units of bar, bomb and bottle sales. This brand aims to close the protein deficiency gap in India through active school and organization partnerships that support underprivileged citizen groups who need protein supplementation the most.
