Patel Engineering Ltd announced on Friday that it has secured two projects totaling Rs 2,036.89 crore in Maharashtra and Arunachal Pradesh.
Patel Engineering Ltd has received an order for dam construction and related works in Maharashtra from the City and Industrial Development Corporation of Maharashtra Ltd (CIDCO), according to a company statement.
The project is scheduled to last 42 months.
North Eastern Electric Power Corporation Ltd (NEEPCO) has awarded Patel Engineering another contract for a 240 MW hydropower project in Arunachal Pradesh, the company announced.
The project is expected to be completed within 44 months.
According to the statement, the scope of work includes the construction of civil and associated infrastructure works, as well as the testing and commissioning of hydromechanical plant and machinery that will lead to the operation and performance of all of the hydroelectric project's generating units.
"The hydropower project demonstrates our strong capabilities in this sector as well as our commitment to supporting India's renewable energy goals. The urban infrastructure project is another step toward improving the livability and resilience of our cities, according to the company's Managing Director, Kavita Shirvaikar.
Patel Engineering Ltd operates in the hydropower, tunneling, and irrigation sectors.
