Phot.AI, an innovative AI-driven creative automation platform, has raised $2.7 million in a seed funding round led by Info Edge Ventures, with participation from Together Fund, AC Ventures, and over 50 prominent angel investors. Sahil Goel and Akshay Gulati (Shiprocket), Aakash Anand (Bella Vita), Arjun Vaidya (V3 Ventures), Prabhkiran Singh (Bewakoof), Puneet Gupta & Anmol Jain (Astrotalk), Sandeep Agarwal (Droom), Vishesh Khurana & Raj Snehil (Tribe Capital), and Pawan Gupta (Fashinza). The funds will fuel team expansion, R&D efforts, and the launch of a highly anticipated copilot feature, the company announced in a press release.

Founded in 2023 by Venus Dhuria, Aneesh Rayancha, and Akshit Raja, serial entrepreneurs behind AppyHigh, an app publishing studio with over 700 million downloads Phot.AI is transforming the e-commerce creative landscape. The platform automates design processes and marketplace listings for brands and retailers, using AI agents that adapt and optimize visuals based on performance across product categories and platforms. The innovation has the potential to reduce manual work and expenses by 80% while reducing product release timelines and delivering 40% more effective creative presentations using A/B testing. Additionally, Phot.AI ensures compliance with the formatting standards of major marketplaces like Amazon and ad platforms like Google.

The platform’s core engine powers a suite of AI agents, offering over 25 advanced photo editing tools, a design studio, and an integrated App Store. Features include product photography, image enhancement, and batch processing using Generative AI, enabling seamless workflows for businesses. Phot.AI has already gained significant traction, with over 3 million pre-launch sign-ups and more than 25 companies leveraging its photo editing APIs to streamline operations and enhance conversions.

“Our AI-powered platform removes the need for design skills or rigid templates, allowing businesses to generate customised content effortlessly. By automating the entire creative process, we help brands save time, maintain consistency, and accelerate their go-to-market strategies," said Venus Dhuria, Co-founder of Phot.AI.  With this funding, Phot.AI aims to solidify its position as a leader in AI-driven design automation, addressing the evolving demands of the global e-commerce sector. The launch of its copilot feature promises to further enhance its offerings, making it a game-changer for brands navigating the digital marketplace.
