Plazza, a quick medicine delivery startup founded by former Zomato head of dining Aman Priyadarshi, has raised $1.4 million in funding led by All In Capital. Better Capital, Tracxn founder Abhishek Goyal, e-scooter maker Bounce founder Vivekananda Hallekere, the Singhania family office, and JK Tyre promoters all took part in the round.
Key Highlights
- Plazza secures $1.4M funding led by All In Capital to expand quick medicine delivery in Bengaluru.
- Investors include Better Capital, Tracxn's Abhishek Goyal, Bounce's Vivekananda Hallekere, and JK Tyre promoters.
Plazza plans to use the funds to broaden its product offerings and expand its store footprint in Bengaluru. It currently operates one store in the city and plans to add two more this year.
Plazza has taken an omnichannel approach to delivery, with the goal of completing orders within 15-60 minutes. It began with its flagship store in Yemalur and plans to open 20 new locations over the next 12 months.
"A typical pharmacy has 4,000-5,000 SKUs (stock keeping units), which is very small and does not have all of the medicines that customers require," said Priyadarshi, the startup's founder and CEO. "We are challenging how pharmaceuticals are sold. We have 20,000 SKUs that can be purchased in-store or delivered.
Plazza intends to broaden its offerings to include healthy snacks, mother and baby care, elder care, and dermatology products across its app and stores.

"So far, we have served 10,000 customers, and the business has recently grown by 25% per week," Priyadarshi said. Plazza was founded in November 2024 by Priyadarshi and Aniruddha Sen, who also cofounded Kenko Health. Kenko went out of business in August of last year due to financial constraints.
The funding comes as quick commerce platforms promote 10-minute delivery of over-the-counter medications and supplements. Instamart has partnered with Pharmeasy for this, Zepto is going independent, and Amazon has partnered with Orange Health for diagnostics services.
