    Finance Outlook India showcases an inspiring story of Indian-origin CEO Yamini Rangan who has been featured on C-Suite Comp’s 2024 list of the top 10 highest-paid female CEOs in the US. In this listing, she has been ranked eighth with an impressive annual salary of USD 2.57 million.

    So to shed light on Rangan’s journey, it began in India. However, after moving to the US at the age of 21, she faced pressing challenges which included financial difficulties. Rangan initially struggled to secure a job in the US, despite holding a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering and an MBA. Due to this, she was back then working as a waitress in an Atlanta football stadium.

    The event turned drastically, when she got her big break came with experience at major companies like SAP, Lucent, Workday, and Dropbox. And in 2020, she joined HubSpot as Chief Customer Executive. And due to her exceptional performance, it led to her promotion to CEO at HubSpot within a year of joining. This became the biggest milestone in her career.

    Today, Yamini Rangan’s estimated net worth is said to be around Rs 263 crore. And as the highest-paid Indian-origin Chief Executive Officer in the US, she has been continuously making a significant impact in the IT sector. Currently, she is President, CEO and Board Member at HubSpot, which is a reputable CRM company that helps millions of companies transform the way they market, sell and serve customers. 

    Yamini is a tech evangelist who brings more than 25 years of experience in leading high-performance teams with utmost empathy and curiosity. She has served as Chief Customer Officer at Dropbox, where she spearheaded the responsibility for embedding customer focus across the organization. Today, she is known as one of the Most Influential Women in Business by San Francisco Business Times.
