Q4 Results: Tata Invest, Mahindra Logistics Among 16 Firms to Announce Results

Finance Outlook India Team | Monday, 21 April 2025

Mahindra Logistics, Tata Investment Corporation, and Aditya Birla Money will be among the 16 companies to report earnings for the fourth quarter (Q4) of fiscal year 2024-25 (FY25). The financial outcomes for the fiscal year that concluded on March 31, 2025, will also be disclosed by these businesses.

The January-March quarter performance reports of Himadri Speciality Chemical, Anant Raj, Shekhawati Poly-Yarn, and Siel Financial Services have also been made public.

    HDFC Bank's Q4 Highlights

Strong net interest income (NII) and fewer provisions helped India's biggest private lender, HDFC Bank, report a 6.7% increase in net profit to Rs 17,616 crore in the fourth quarter of FY25. Despite modest loan growth, NII grew 10% year over year to Rs 32,065.8 crore. The total amount of other income was Rs 12,003 crore. With net non-performing assets (NPAs) at 0.43 percent and gross NPAs at 1.33 percent, the bank's asset quality improved.

HDFC Bank has also declared a dividend of Rs 22 per share for FY25.

    ICICI Bank Q4 Highlights

Strong treasury gains and increased fee income helped ICICI Bank report an 18% year-over-year increase in standalone net profit for Q4FY25, reaching Rs 12,630 crore.

A loss of Rs 281 crore in Q4 FY24 was reversed by Treasury gains of Rs 239 crore. At Rs 21,193 crore, NII increased 11% annually.

The bank's board has recommended a dividend of Rs 11 per share for fiscal year 25.

    Market review April 21

A three-day trading holiday resulted from the closure of markets from Friday to Sunday.

Due to investors' continued caution regarding US tariffs and the state of the economy, stocks ended the shortened week on Thursday with mixed results.

The tech-focused Nasdaq fell by the same amount as the S&P 500, which increased by 0.1 percent. Both indexes finished well below their session highs. In the United States, the Dow Jones Industrial Average fell sharply, dropping more than 500 points after UnitedHealth shares fell 22% after the company reduced its profit forecast due to rising healthcare costs.

With minimal trading across Asia, Indian markets are anticipated to start the day quietly. Stocks are being negatively impacted by ongoing trade tensions between the US and China.
