Qweebi Raises USD 500K to Expand STEM and Robotics Learning

Qweebi Raises $500K to Expand STEM & Robotics Learning

Finance Outlook India Team | Thursday, 26 March 2026

Qweebi, an online STEM learning platform that enables schools to run hands-on engineering and robotics projects entirely through a web browser, has raised $500,000 in a seed funding round led by Inflection Point Ventures (IPV). The round also saw participation from global leaders including Jeroen Tas, former Co-founder of Mphasis and Chief Innovation & Strategy Officer at Philips, and Arpit Jain, Co-founder & CEO of SplashLearn, a leading K-12 math platform in the United States.

The company plans to use the funds to further develop its product and expand adoption across U.S. school districts. More than 5,200 schools across all 50 U.S. states, representing roughly 4% of schools nationwide, have signed up to use Qweebi, with the platform serving over 100,000 students to date. This growth has been entirely organic, driven by teachers spreading the word on social media.

Commenting on the investment, Mitesh Shah, Co-founder, Inflection Point Ventures said, “STEM education is becoming increasingly important in preparing students for the future workforce, yet schools often struggle with the costs and logistics involved in delivering hands-on learning. Qweebi’s browser-based approach removes these barriers by making engineering and robotics education accessible without requiring physical infrastructure. Their strong organic adoption across U.S. schools demonstrates the real demand for scalable digital STEM learning solutions, and we believe the team is well positioned to expand this model globally.”

Implementing hands-on engineering and robotics projects in real classrooms is far more difficult than it appears. For a STEM teacher, it often means spending many hours preparing, searching for lesson plans, sourcing batteries, motors, and sensors for hundreds of students.

Running these projects in class is just as challenging. In a typical 45-minute class period, students spend so much time setting up materials and packing them away that very little time is left for meaningful learning.

As a result, it becomes difficult for teachers to consistently deliver high-quality hands-on learning experiences in their classrooms.

Qweebi brings hands-on engineering and robotics learning fully online.

Teachers can choose from a library of ready-to-run projects that come with everything they need, from lesson plans to teacher guides, cutting prep time from several hours to under 30 minutes.

In the classroom, students build virtual prototypes that function just like in the real world, without physical supplies. By eliminating setup and cleanup, students spend far more class time actually building and learning.

As a result, teachers can consistently deliver rich hands-on projects within just 3-4 class periods, experiences that would otherwise take weeks to coordinate or are often replaced with simpler activities.

Vivek Seetharaman, CEO of Qweebi, said “If you really want to master something, you have to actually do it, you can’t just read about it or watch someone else do it. That’s something we all know, and it’s the essence of hands-on learning. School systems around the world are increasingly moving beyond books and videos toward hands-on experiences. But in real classrooms, cost and friction still make it extremely difficult for teachers to run these projects at scale. At Qweebi, we’re removing these barriers to make hands-on learning simple and accessible, so every child has the opportunity to truly learn-by-doing.”

Qweebi was founded by a team with deep experience building interactive 3D platforms and scaling venture-backed startups.

Vivek Seetharaman, CEO of Qweebi, is a 2x entrepreneur who previously founded Doowup, a virtual interior design platform acquired by Sequoia-backed HomeLane.com. He later served as CTO and CPO at HomeLane, where he built one of India’s largest virtual interior design platforms, enabling the design of over 20,000 homes to date. Aman Bansal, CBO at Qweebi and a founding member of Doowup, previously served as AVP and Business Unit Head at HomeLane, where he led revenue and operations across three major cities and scaled a new category from $1M to $10M increase in revenue annually. Abhishek Avana, Chief Design Officer at Qweebi, previously led 3D design at LiveLikeVR, a virtual reality sports streaming platform, where he designed immersive 3D interfaces for broadcasters including BBC and Fox Sports.
