Rapido has just launched its new food delivery app, 'Ownly', in India. The app aims to provide its users with tasty and affordable meals. Ownly is currently available in certain parts of Bengaluru and can only be downloaded from the Google Play Store.

Affordable Food in Bengaluru
Ownly is now available in Bengaluru's Koramangala, HSR Layout, and BTM Layout, with a focus on affordable meals priced around Rs 150. Basic necessities like chapati, rice, and eggs cost less than Rs 100. According to reports, the app includes popular food brands such as Faasos, Krispy Kreme, Wow!, and EatFit, making it easy to find delicious and affordable options.
How Ownly's Delivery Fees Work and Where They Are Available
Ownly was tested in select Bengaluru neighborhoods prior to its public launch. Rapido collaborated with the National Restaurant Association of India (NRAI) to establish fair terms for restaurants that joined the platform, and the app was launched as a result. Instead of charging restaurants a commission, partner restaurants will cover the delivery fee for orders placed within four kilometers. This new approach is intended to make things easier and more affordable for both restaurants and customers.
Ownly's delivery charges are simple: Rs. 20 for small orders within four kilometers and Rs. 25 for orders over Rs. 100. Rapido guarantees no additional fees, such as platform fees, packaging charges, or hidden markups.

Ownly is currently available in several Bengaluru neighborhoods, including Byrasandra, Tavarekere, Madiwala (BTM Layout), and Hosur Sarjapura Road. If you try to use the app in Delhi or the surrounding areas, you will receive a message stating that the service is not yet available there. In addition, the app is currently only available on the Google Play Store, not the Apple App Store.
