The bank stated in a statement that this is because of Annual Closing activities and that ATM and UPI Lite services will be accessible during this time.

Aside from this, starting April 1st there won't be an option to swap or deposit the Rs 2,000 notes. In a statement released on March 28, 2024, RBI stated that the plant will reopen on Tuesday, April 2, 2024.

Customers of HDFC Bank have also been informed that as of April 1, 2024, National Electronic Funds Transfer (NEFT) services would not be available. Customers who can use the service, according to the bank, should anticipate some delay.
