These days, the investing sector is overrun with con artists that prowl around, looking for naive and vulnerable people to con and steal their hard-earned money. The National Stock Exchange (NSE) warned investors against investing in some people or companies that offer guaranteed profits on stock market investments.

According to a corporate statement, "It has been brought to the notice of the Exchange that person named “Amisha Thakur” operating through mobile number “9366171650” is providing securities market tips and assured returns on investment in stock market."

It also said that the aforementioned individual or business is not listed as a member of the National Stock Exchange of India Limited or as an authorized representative of any registered member.

The NSE has also issued a warning to investors, advising them against subscribing to any plan or product given by any individual or business that promises indicative, certain, or guaranteed profits in the stock market since doing so is illegal.

On its website, Exchange offers a feature called "Know/Locate your Stock Broker," which allows users to look up the data of registered members and their authorized representatives.

Additionally, the specified bank accounts listed under the aforementioned link are used as client bank accounts to receive and/or pay money to investors, as revealed by trading members to Exchange. As with any individual or business, investors are recommended to double-check the information, it continued.
