Superfone, an all-in-one business phone and CRM app for small and medium-sized businesses, has raised USD 1.9 million in Pre-Series A funding. YourNest Venture Capital led the round, investing USD 950,000, with participation from Ankur Capital, Finsight Seed Fund, and an angel investor consortium.
The money is part of the YourNest-SanchiConnect Velocity Program 2024, a joint accelerator project to encourage high-growth startups.
In July 2021, the Bengaluru-based startup raised $1.84 million from Ankur Capital and other investors.
Superfone stated in a press release that the revenues will be used to secure national-level telecom licences, improve its technical and product teams with important senior hires, and grow its customer acquisition operations to optimize its reach and effect.
Superfone, created in 2021 by Pradeep Dodle and Nikhil Goenka, seeks to transform the landscape of business phone numbers by replacing traditional SIM cards with a totally app-based solution that includes advanced technologies like CRM, lead management, WhatsApp marketing, and AI-powered agents. This method solves the major communication and operational difficulties that SMBs confront, enabling over 10 million small businesses in India to accelerate growth, improve customer engagement, and streamline operations.
According to Superfone, it uses a software-first strategy to give SMBs with a robust, user-friendly telecom platform that combines communication, CRM, and marketing capabilities to drive development and efficiency. The company intends to expand globally in the future, focusing on high-growth regions in Southeast Asia (SEA) and Latin America.
Superfone claims to have just obtained a Unified Licence (VNO) with Access Service for the Karnataka telecom circle, as well as a Unified Licence (Audio Conferencing/Audiotex/Voice Mail Service) for Pan-India from the Department of Telecommunications (DoT).
