    Tata Group is the Most Valuable group in India: Latest ranking

    The Tata Group has been named the most valuable business group in India, according to the most recent rankings. The group's huge brand value has been principally generated by its flagship IT company, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), as well as its international diversification strategy, which has a market valuation of 30 lakh crore.

    Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) has a solid position, with a market value of Rs 21 lakh crore. Meanwhile, the Adani Group ranked third with Rs 15 lakh crore. HDFC Group is ranked fourth with a market capitalization of 14 lakh crore rupees. Bajaj Group is ranked fifth with a market capitalization of 11 lakh crore rupees. The ICICI group contains four listed firms with a market value of ten lakh crores.

    Combined Market Cap of Firms in the Last Week

    Last week, the aggregate market valuation of six of the top ten most valuable corporations increased by Rs 2,03,116.81 crore, with Tata Consultancy Services and HDFC Bank emerging as the largest gainers, reflecting an optimistic trend on Dalal Street.

    Last week, the BSE benchmark rose 1,906.33 points, or 2.38 percent, while the NSE Nifty increased 546.7 points, or 2.26 percent.

    While Reliance Industries, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, Infosys, and State Bank of India were the pack leaders, Bharti Airtel, Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC), ITC, and Hindustan Unilever were the laggards.

    The market value of TCS increased by Rs 62,574.82 crore to Rs 16,08,782.61 crore.

    HDFC Bank added Rs 45,338.17 crore, bringing its market capitalization to Rs 14,19,270.28 crore. Infosys' valuation increased by Rs 26,885.8 crore to Rs 7,98,560.13 crore, while Reliance Industries' rose by Rs 26,185.14 crore to Rs 17,75,176.68 crore.

    State Bank of India's market capitalization (mcap) increased by Rs 22,311.55 crore to Rs 7,71,087.17 crore, while ICICI Bank's rose by Rs 19,821.33 crore to Rs 9,37,545.57 crore.

    Laggards On The Stock Market

    However, Bharti Airtel's valuation dropped from Rs 16,720.1 crore to Rs 9,10,005.80 crore. The market capitalization of ITC fell by Rs 7,256.27 crore to Rs 5,89,572.01 crore. The market value of Hindustan Unilever fell by Rs 2,843.01 crore to Rs 5,83,673.71 crore. The market capitalization of LIC fell by Rs 1,265 crore to Rs 6,21,937.02 crore.
