On Friday, Texmaco Rail & Engineering Ltd announced that it had obtained an order from UltraTech Cement Ltd for the provision of brake vans and specialized freight wagons, valued at Rs 86.85 crore.

These wagons will be used at UltraTech's Madhya Pradesh plants in Maihar and Sarlanagar, according to the flagship company of the Adventz Group.
To improve energy efficiency, solar-powered systems will be installed on the brake vans.
Managing Director Sudipta Mukherjee stated, "Texmaco's engineering prowess and dedication to sustainable logistics are endorsed by this repeat order."
Indrajit Mookerjee was reappointed as executive director and vice chairman for a one-year term starting in April 2026, and Mukherjee was extended as managing director for five years starting in June 2026, contingent on shareholder approval, as part of Texmaco's announcement of leadership continuity.

According to the Kolkata-based company, it is well-positioned to gain from India's rail and infrastructure development because of its robust order pipeline across the cement, steel, coal, and infrastructure sectors.
