California-based early-stage venture capital fund Expert DOJO has initiated a startup cohort focused on India. The company intends to make investments of $100,000 into over 10 startups from sectors such as tech, AI, EV, B2B, and more, through its accelerator program.

Startups in the cohort will receive more than capital, and will receive growth support, mentorship, and access to the company's investor network around the world, according to Expert DOJO. The cohort is currently accepting applications from startups.

This cohort was developed to help early-stage startups solidify their business models, expand into new markets, and take steps toward fundraising for their next round as quickly as possible. The cohort will support Indian founders specifically with challenges that include limited access to global capital, lack of global mentorship, and restricted reach into markets internationally.

The launch comes after Expert Dojo announced a $15 million fund focused on India and plans to deploy between 20–25 early-stage companies from 2023 up to the fiscal year 2026.  The fund will remain sector agnostic but will maintain focus on high potential sectors like fintech, SaaS, B2B, and AI to help founders scale globally.
