At the Indian Agricultural Research Institute, Pusa, New Delhi, on Monday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will take part in the "Sashakt Nari - Viksit Bharat" program and watch agricultural drone demos by Namo Drone Didis.

The Prime Minister announced on the microblogging platform X, which was formerly known as Twitter, that self-help groups will receive financial support up to Rs 10,000 crore. "Financial support worth Rs. 10,000 crore would also be given to Self Help Groups either as bank loans or through Capitalization Support Fund" , the Prime Minister stated on X.

Simultaneous participation in the drone demonstration will come from Namo Drone Didis located at 10 different sites across the country. The Prime Minister will also give drones to 1,000 Namo Drone Didis at the program.

The government's strategy to promote women's financial autonomy and economic empowerment, particularly in rural regions, includes the Namo Drone Didi and Lakhpati Didi programs. The Prime Minister will honor Lakhpati Didis in order to advance this goal. These individuals have succeeded thanks to the National Rural Livelihoods Mission, or Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana, and they are encouraging and assisting other members of Self-Help Groups to strive for betterment.

The prime minister would also provide capitalization support funds to Self-Help Groups (SHGs) worth around Rs 2,000 crore and bank loans worth about Rs 8,000 crore at subsidized interest rates through Bank Linkage Camps established by banks in each district.
