Wealth Company Rolls Out Bharat Bhoomi Fund with1,000 Cr Green Shoe Option

Finance Outlook India Team | Tuesday, 10 June 2025

    Key Highlights

    • Bharat Bhoomi Fund launched with ₹1,000 cr base and equal green‑shoe option targeting execution‑ready real‑asset projects across major corridors.
    • Focus sectors include data centres, warehousing, housing, hospitality and renewable parks in India’s high‑growth urban cities.

The Wealth Company Asset Management, a Pantomath Group company, has launched Bharat Bhoomi Fund, a Rs 1,000 crore category II alternative investment fund (AIF) with a Rs 1,000 crore green shoe option, as part of its fifth Bharat Value Fund (BVF) series.

The fund's capital allocation strategy will be diversified, with investments in data centers, warehousing, hospitality, and renewable parks that are aligned with India's evolving infrastructure, digital transformation, and sustainability priorities.

In addition, investments will focus on mid-to-premium residential, retail, plotted villas, and mixed-use developments in high-growth cities such as Mumbai (MMR), NCR, Pune, Bengaluru, Chennai, and Hyderabad. The fund will also prioritize infrastructure-led corridors and planned developments that will benefit from increased connectivity and urbanization.

The fund's methodology is intended to identify projects with clear land titles, regulatory readiness, and early exit visibility. It will seek ready-to-launch assets that can quickly transition from investment to value creation.

With a pipeline of approximately 1,200 acres across six projects, the fund seeks to deploy capital quickly, prudently, and precisely, focusing on execution-ready projects in high-opportunity corridors and core cities.

The Wealth Company stated that the real estate asset class is perfectly aligned with its focus on tangible value, risk-managed returns, and disciplined capital allocation.

Madhu Lunawat, founder and director of The Wealth Company Asset Management, stated, "As capital becomes more thoughtful, the demand for real assets with real outcomes has never been greater. The Bharat Bhoomi Fund enables meeting that demand through discipline, data, and domain expertise. The Wealth Company's investment philosophy is now confidently expanding into India's real estate market—with conviction and clarity."

In addition, The Wealth Company Asset Management, formerly Pantomath Capital Management, houses all alternate products under India Inflection Opportunity Trust (IIOT).

BVF is a category II AIF established by IIOT and managed by The Wealth Company. BVF primarily seeks pre-IPO investment opportunities in Indian growth-stage companies.
