    Gold Price Today: The price of 24-carat gold fell by Rs 10 in early trade on Thursday, with ten grams trading at Rs 87,810 on the GoodReturns website. The price of silver fell by Rs 100, with a kilogram selling for Rs 97,900.

    With ten grams of 22-carat gold selling for Rs 80,490, the price of the metal fell by Rs 10.

    It costs Rs 87,810 for 10 grams of 24-carat gold in Chennai, Kolkata, and Mumbai.

    The price of ten grams of 24-carat gold in Delhi was Rs 87,960.

    Mumbai charges Rs 80,490 for 10 grams of 22-carat gold, which is the same price as Kolkata, Bengaluru, Chennai, and Hyderabad.

    It costs Rs 80,640 in Delhi to buy 10 grams of 22-carat gold.

    In Delhi, a kilogram of silver costs Rs 97,900, which is similar to what it costs in Bengaluru, Kolkata, and Mumbai. 

    One kilogram of silver cost Rs 1,05,900 in Chennai.

    Thursday saw a slight increase in US gold prices as investors awaited a significant inflation report to gauge the Federal Reserve's policy direction and worries about US President Donald Trump's tariff plans persisted.

    As of 0018 GMT, spot gold was up 0.1% at $2,918.22 an ounce. At $2,932.30, US gold futures rose 0.1 percent.

    Palladium dropped 0.1% to $925.95 and platinum dropped 0.1% to $965.10, while spot silver increased 0.1% to $31.87 an ounce.
