Zerodha Instant Withdrawal Limit Raised to Rs 5 Lakh Per Day

Zerodha Instant Withdrawal Limit Raised to Rs 5 Lakh Per Day

Finance Outlook India Team | Wednesday, 04 November 2026

Zerodha instant withdrawal daily limit has increased from Rs 2 lakh to Rs 5 lakh, allowing eligible customers to transfer larger amounts from their trading accounts to their linked bank accounts without waiting for the regular withdrawal settlement cycle.

    Key Highlights

    • Zerodha instant withdrawal limit has been increased from Rs 2 lakh to Rs 5 lakh per day.

    • Eligible customers can withdraw between Rs 100 and Rs 5 lakh, with one request permitted daily.

The revised limit is available between 9 am and 6 pm every day, including weekends and market holidays, Zerodha co-founder and CEO Nithin Kamath said in a post on X.

The facility enables customers to access eligible funds more quickly. Zerodha said it has processed nearly Rs 1 lakh crore in instant payouts since introducing the service in 2024, without charging customers any additional fee.

Zerodha Instant Withdrawal Limit Increased to Rs 5 Lakh

Under the revised Zerodha withdrawal limit, customers can withdraw a minimum of Rs 100 and a maximum of Rs 5 lakh per day through instant withdrawals, according to Zerodha's support documentation.

However, customers can submit only one instant withdrawal request per day. The higher limit applies specifically to the instant withdrawal facility and should not be confused with the overall limit for regular fund withdrawals.

The facility is available between 9 am and 6 pm, including non-trading days, weekends and market holidays.

How to Withdraw Money Instantly from Zerodha

Eligible customers can initiate an instant withdrawal request through their Zerodha accounts by following these steps:

    1. Log in to your Zerodha account.

    2. Navigate to the Funds section.

    3. Select Instant under the withdrawal options.

    4. Enter the amount you wish to withdraw.

    5. Tap Continue and confirm the request.

Once the request is submitted, the funds are processed through Zerodha's instant payout facility, subject to the applicable eligibility conditions.

Who Is Eligible for Zerodha Instant Withdrawals?

The instant withdrawal facility is subject to certain conditions. Customers must have a sufficient withdrawable balance in their trading accounts to use the service.

Funds deposited into a Zerodha account on the same day are not eligible for instant withdrawal. The availability of funds may also depend on pending or executed orders and open positions in the account.

Zerodha's rules also distinguish between eligible long-term delivery (CNC) sell orders and margin trading facility (MTF) sell orders when calculating the withdrawable balance. Before submitting a request, customers should check the broker's support documentation to understand how their orders, positions and available balances affect eligibility.

Instant Withdrawal vs Regular Fund Withdrawal

The instant withdrawal facility allows eligible customers to access funds without waiting for the regular withdrawal settlement cycle. However, it comes with a separate daily limit and specific conditions.

While the instant withdrawal limit is now Rs 5 lakh per day, regular fund withdrawals follow a different process and are not governed by this facility's daily cap.

The revised limit gives eligible Zerodha customers greater flexibility when transferring available funds from their trading accounts to their bank accounts. However, the amount that can be withdrawn instantly will continue to depend on the account's withdrawable balance and applicable restrictions.
