    • The latest round takes RapidCanvas's total funding to $52.5 million, supporting expansion across India, the US, and Brazil.

RapidCanvas Raises $29 Million Led by Vertex Ventures

Vertex Ventures Southeast Asia & India led RapidCanvas's $29 million Series B funding round. Hitachi Ventures and existing investors Accel, Peak XV Partners, Valley Capital Partners, and Titanium Ventures also participated in the investment.

The fresh capital will support the expansion of RapidCanvas's go-to-market teams, strengthen strategic partnerships, and grow its field AI engineering team across India, the United States, and Brazil. The funding is expected to help the company expand its enterprise customer base and increase the adoption of its AI platform.

With the latest round, RapidCanvas's cumulative funding has reached $52.5 million. The investment follows its earlier fundraising activity as the company seeks to help enterprises move beyond experimental AI projects towards applications deployed in everyday business operations.

    RapidCanvas Reports Eightfold ARR Growth

RapidCanvas said its annual recurring revenue (ARR) grew eightfold over the past six quarters, reflecting increased adoption of its enterprise AI platform. More than 40% of its customers now operate multiple AI use cases in production.

In 2026, more than 75 enterprises across manufacturing, financial services, retail, business services, and infrastructure made 1.4 million AI-led decisions using applications developed on the platform.

These figures highlight the company's focus on helping businesses implement AI in operational workflows rather than limiting its use to pilot projects. For enterprises, moving AI applications into production requires suitable data, business-specific context, technical expertise, and systems capable of supporting ongoing operations.

RapidCanvas combines AI agents with human expertise to help customers develop and deploy custom AI applications. Its approach is designed to address challenges faced by organisations that have AI budgets but may lack the internal resources or specialised capabilities required to implement customised solutions.

RapidCanvas Offers Three Core Enterprise AI Products

Founded in 2021, RapidCanvas provides an AI platform that combines automated agents with field engineering expertise to help enterprises build and deploy custom applications.

Its platform includes three core products: the Enterprise Context Engine, Visual Development Canvas, and Operational Harness. Together, these products help businesses capture organisational context, develop customised AI applications, and manage deployed solutions.

The company targets enterprises with annual revenue ranging from $100 million to $10 billion. These businesses may have the financial resources to invest in AI but lack the in-house expertise or engineering capacity to move applications from development to production.

RapidCanvas's operating model combines its software platform with field engineers who work directly with customers to develop applications and oversee their outcomes after deployment. This approach is intended to connect AI capabilities with specific business requirements and support their integration into operational processes.

RapidCanvas Raised $16 Million in Series A Funding in 2024

RapidCanvas previously raised $16 million in a Series A funding round in December 2024, led by Peak XV Partners, with participation from Titanium Ventures, Accel, and Valley Capital Partners. The round took its total funding to $23.5 million at the time.

The company's latest Series B funding brings its cumulative funding to $52.5 million, providing additional capital for commercial expansion and engineering capabilities.

RapidCanvas was co-founded by Rahul Pangam and Uttam Phalnikar, who previously built Simility, an AI-based risk management company acquired by PayPal. The founders have positioned RapidCanvas around a hybrid approach that combines AI tools with human expertise to develop and deploy enterprise applications.

Their experience in building an AI-focused business informs RapidCanvas's emphasis on practical implementation and business outcomes. Rather than offering AI tools alone, the company works with enterprises to build customised applications and support their use after deployment.

RapidCanvas to Expand Commercial Operations and AI Engineering

RapidCanvas plans to use the latest funding to expand its go-to-market operations, deepen partnerships, and increase its field AI engineering presence across India, the US, and Brazil.

The expansion comes as enterprises across industries explore ways to integrate AI into decision-making and operational processes. However, successful implementation can require more than access to AI models or development tools. Businesses must also address integration, deployment, and the ongoing management of applications.

RapidCanvas's combination of an AI platform and customer-facing engineering teams is designed to help enterprises address these requirements. Its next phase of growth will depend on converting demand into production deployments, expanding relationships with existing customers, and sustaining adoption across multiple use cases.

With $52.5 million in total funding and reported growth in recurring revenue, RapidCanvas is positioning itself to expand its presence in enterprise AI. Its ability to scale commercial operations while helping customers achieve practical outcomes from AI applications will be important to its long-term growth.
