The funds from the offering will be dedicated to expanding its AI platform and bolstering its presence within healthcare practices.
Healthtech startup Confido Health Uses AI Agents to Automate Healthcare Operations
Healthtech startup Confido Health, established in 2022 by Chetan Reddy and Vichar Shroff, creates AI agents to support healthcare providers in handling mundane administrative and operational duties. It runs the activities of scheduling appointments, verifying insurance coverage, coordinating patient care and monitoring referrals.
The company's AI agents are deployed in existing healthcare technology systems in no code, taking less than 5 minutes, as stated by Confido Health. The method allows health care systems to streamline processes without changing their current technology base.
The company says that its platform integrates with over 50 systems such as EHRs, practice management software, phone systems, billing platforms and fax systems. This integration will enable its AI agents to orchestrate several tasks within a provider’s existing technology infrastructure.
Confido Health Serves 3,200 Providers Across 27 States
Confido Health says its platform is active in over 1,500 care locations — mostly independent practice groups — in 27 states in the United States. It offers services to around 3,200 healthcare providers and states that one in every 50 patients now sees their healthcare providers via its AI agents.
The platform collects patient info, referral information, and payer requirements during the intake process and then triggers and tracks the following business processes. One patient interaction may lead to multiple activities such as referrals, scheduling, prescription refills, and payment.
Confido Health will streamline administrative tasks and enable healthcare practices to handle patient interactions more efficiently by linking these workflows.

Confido Health Reports 15x Growth and More Than 95% AI Handle Rates
Since the last funding round, the company claims to have grown by 15x and to have posted AI handle rates above 95% for some of the most important end-to-end-office workflows. On top of this, Confido Health states that their platform can provide the same number of operational employees in the range of 3-5, on average, within 3 months of deployment.
The capabilities are designed to help healthcare practices meet administrative needs, especially those of independent practices that are seeking to manage communications with patients, schedule appointments, and other administrative functions without increasing overhead by adding more administrative staff.
Confido Health is targeting a number of healthcare specialties such as ophthamology & optometry, physical therapy, dental care, primary care & community care. The segments are usually associated with coordinated patient communication, appointment management and follow-up activities, which can be automated.
Confido Health Targets Expansion in AI-Powered Healthcare
The new series A round follows a surge in interest around leveraging AI in healthcare administration and patient engagement. Automation is becoming a more and more popular approach among healthcare providers for the streamlining of mundane tasks, increased access to care and decreased repetitive administrative tasks.
The new capital will fuel capital growth and enable Confido Health to reach more healthcare practices with the expansion of its AI platform. It's an integration-led approach that emphasizes automation of operational tasks without requiring a complete overhaul of providers' systems.
The company's expansion into healthcare specialties will rely on uptake by providers, the effectiveness of its AI agents and its capacity to provide tangible operational gains. The new investment will enable it to expand its capabilities and grow its footprint in the US healthcare market.
