    AI Travel Firm The Tarzan Way Nets Rs. 2 Crore Fund for Personalized Travel Planning

    The Tarzan Way, an AI-powered travel tech startup based in Noida, has secured Rs. 2 crores (~$233K) in a seed funding round led by Inflection Point Ventures (IPV). Participating in the round included Your Trips Limited (UK), Prateek Maheshwari founder of Physicswallah and various angel investors.

    Funds will be used for product development (35 percent), operations (25 percent), marketing (20 percent), HR/admin (15 percent) and other (5 percent)

    Founded in 2020 by Shikhar Chadha and Shivank Tripathi, The Tarzan Way is a travel tech startup that uses AI to provide hyper-personalised travel experiences, which enables users to instantaneously plan their custom travel itineraries.

    The company has plans to unveil its “Exploration App” very soon, which will enable users to conduct their travel planning through their website by using their AI-backed booking engine, one-click booking and 24x7 concierge services.

    The platform has claimed it achieved Rs. 13.5 crore in gross booking value since inception, a 300 percentYoY revenue growth and 70 percent MoM user growth with over 35,000 followers on social platforms plus 10 million+ total views of all content.

    The Tarzan Way is backed by a growing personalised travel market and India’s tourism sector is also set to expand, expected to reach $512 billion by 2028.
