Apple India crossed the ₹1 lakh crore revenue mark for the first time in FY26. Its revenue and profit grew faster than in the previous financial year.
Filings submitted by Apple India Pvt Ltd to the Registrar of Companies, accessed through business intelligence platform AltInfo, show revenue from operations of ₹1,03,853 crore in the financial year ended March 2026. This marked a 31% increase from ₹79,060 crore in FY25, when revenue growth stood at 18%.
The company also reported a sharp rise in earnings. Its net profit jumped 66% to ₹5,311 crore in FY26, compared with ₹3,196 crore in the previous year. In FY25, net profit had grown by 16%.
The results highlight Apple's growing presence in India, where demand for premium smartphones continues to rise despite slower overall market growth.
Key Highlights
- Apple India revenue rose 31% to ₹1,03,853 crore in FY26.
- Net profit jumped 66% to ₹5,311 crore during the year.
- iPhone volumes in India grew 24%, more than double the 11% growth recorded in FY25.
Apple India Grows as Smartphone Market Slows
Apple's performance stands out against the broader smartphone market. According to Counterpoint Research figures cited in the report, India's smartphone market grew just 2% in volume and 9% in value in FY26.
The premium segment performed better than the overall market. Smartphone sales in the category priced above ₹30,000 increased 12% by volume. Meanwhile, iPhone volumes rose 24%, compared with 11% growth in FY25.
The figures point to a shift in consumer demand toward higher-priced devices. While the overall market recorded limited volume growth, Apple's sales expanded at a much faster pace.
A combination of brand appeal, broader retail access, and easier financing has helped the company reach more buyers. The trend also reflects the growing willingness of Indian consumers to spend on premium smartphones.

Premium Demand Helps Apple Compete With Samsung
Shubham Singh, a research analyst at Counterpoint Technology Market Research, attributed the trend to stronger demand for premium smartphones in India.
According to Singh, brand aspiration, wider retail reach, deeper distribution in tier-2 and smaller markets, and easy financing options are making iPhones accessible to more consumers. His comments were reported by The Economic Times.
Singh also noted that price increases across smartphone brands have narrowed the gap between iPhones and premium Android devices. Apple's brand appeal and connected ecosystem have further supported its position.
The FY26 results also put Apple India close to Samsung Electronics India's total revenue. Samsung reported revenue of ₹1.12 lakh crore for FY26. However, the two companies' figures cover different business operations.
Samsung's revenue includes televisions, home appliances, telecom network equipment, and exports, in addition to smartphones. Its mobile phone revenue reportedly declined 1.4% to ₹81,472 crore.
Apple's revenue milestone and faster iPhone volume growth underline the importance of India's premium smartphone segment. The company's next challenge will be to sustain this momentum as competition intensifies and consumer demand evolves.
