    Babynama, a Healthtech startup Raised USD 700K Led by Good Capital

    A digital pediatric care platform, Babynama, has successfully raised USD 700,000 in its seed round led by Good Capital. Furthermore, the funding round also saw the participation from Amplify and angels, which include Abhishek Gupta (Founder, Fashinza), Akshay Saxena (Founder, Avanti), Ankit Gupta (Founder, Bicycle Health), Dhruv Dhanraj Bahl (Ex-COO, BharatPe), coupled with other noteworthy founders from the IIT Bombay network. The fund is said to be utilized to advance its technology infrastructure, support staff, amplify its marketing efforts, and scale its team of expert pediatricians.

    The platform was established back in June 2022 by Dr. Sumitra Meena and Ashish Meena, Babynama, wherein, it is known to offer access to expert pediatricians through a chat-first platform. Babynama claims to ensure parents receive timely, reliable, and personalized care, boasting over 1.5 million queries being resolved and an average response time of under two minutes.

    Going forward, the platform’s key focus areas would be to include 24/7 pediatric support, a dedicated doctors team, community engagement, parent education, and technology-driven care.

    Babynama claims to have achieved milestones which include assisting about 2 lakh parents in accessing timely care while also identifying early signs of critical conditions such as respiratory distress, ADHD, epilepsy, and autism in children. The platform is also stated to have surpassed 10,000 paying customers. 

    To empower parents, Babynama intends to launch third-trimester care programs, developmental initiatives to target key aspects of child growth, and interactive workshops.
