Finance Outlook India Team | Wednesday, 14 October 2026

Bengaluru's Spill Games, an AI-led mobile gaming studio, has raised $10.5 million funding in a Series A round led by Elevation Capital. Existing investors Centre Court Capital and PeerCapital also participated in the round, supporting the startup's efforts to expand its gaming portfolio and strengthen its artificial intelligence and technology capabilities.

    Key Highlights

    • Bengaluru's Spill Games raised $10.5 million funding in Series A round led by Elevation Capital, with existing investors participating.
    • Spill Games will scale successful games, expand its portfolio, strengthen AI capabilities and accelerate mobile game development.

The latest funding follows a $3.1 million seed round co-led by Centre Court Capital and PeerCapital in April 2026. In December 2024, the company also secured $750,000 from All In Capital, M-League and other angel investors.

According to a company press release, Spill Games will deploy the fresh capital to scale successful titles, develop new games, expand user acquisition efforts, strengthen its technology and AI capabilities, and selectively recruit talent.

Bengaluru's Spill Games Builds an AI-Driven Mobile Gaming Model

Founded in 2024 by former PlaySimple Games operators Om Misra, Tapan Ranjan and Harsh Garg, Bengaluru's Spill Games is developing a systems-driven model for mobile game creation. The company's formula is artificial intelligence, proprietary innovation, data analytics and fast experimentation that help to speed the development-to-market-to-globalization process.

The company's goal is to give a smaller development team a way to test out concepts, find the best game names and grow a successful game more efficiently than traditional development practices.

According to the company, its portfolio expanded from three games demonstrating scalable and profitable metrics to six in less than three months. With the new series A funding, Spill Games plans to increase the number of game concepts it can test and the titles it can scale.

Compass AI Engine Supports Faster Game Development

Compass is Spill Games' technology and AI-driven engine, at the heart of their development strategy. The system combines the analytics, player retention, monetisation and live operations elements to enable the business to use the same infrastructure for several game titles.

Compass combines these attributes to help shorten the time to concept development to market testing. The goal of Spill Games is to get games the same size as traditional games about 4x faster.

The development process of the company includes the development of several game ideas, prototype and testing with players. It then examines metrics like retention, engagement, monetisation and user acquisition to decide if a game is worth investing in or not.

Global Mobile Gaming Market Offers Growth Opportunities

The startup funding follows amid a trend of the mobile gaming industry growing across the world. Global mobile gaming is projected to be worth $176.7 billion by 2026 and will double by 2030, based on the market estimates supplied.

In this context, Spill Games aims to build on its portfolio with an AI-driven development approach incorporating speed and experimentation with data-informed decision-making.

The new capital will allow the company to continue its successful expansion of games, experimentation with new ideas and development of new technology serving its business operations.
