Sunfox Technologies to Expand India and Global Operations
The latest funding follows a Rs 15 crore pre-Series A round raised by Sunfox Technologies in August 2024. Venture Catalysts led that round, with participation from Finvolve through the IA Growth Opportunities Fund I and Brew Opportunities Fund, Universal Group, RP Singhvi Group and other investors.
Sunfox had also secured investments from all five Sharks during the first season of Shark Tank India.
Founded in 2016 by Rajat Jain, Arpit Jain, Saurabh Badola, Nitin Chandola and Sabit Rawat, Sunfox develops healthcare technologies focused on improving diagnostic access, particularly in cardiac care.
Spandan ECG Platform Drives Sunfox’s Cardiac Care Focus
Sunfox Technologies’ flagship Spandan series comprises portable, medical-grade ECG solutions designed for hospitals, clinics, telemedicine networks and home-based patient monitoring.
The platform enables ECGs to be recorded closer to patients and can flag cardiac patterns that may require further medical attention. Over the past decade, the company has developed Spandan solutions for personal, clinical and institutional applications.
These include home-based ECG recording, hospitals and clinics, public-health programmes and remote-care networks.
Dehradun-based Sunfox Technologies Expands to 15+ Countries
Dehradun-based Sunfox Technologies said it has expanded its presence to more than 15 countries, while its products have reached healthcare providers across more than 1,800 PIN codes in India.
The company’s technology can also be deployed through a hub-and-spoke model in public-health systems, helping extend diagnostic capabilities to remote and underserved locations.
Sunfox said around 60,000 Spandan devices have been deployed across India, covering more than 20,000 villages across states and union territories. Its Spandan One platform has been used to screen approximately 5 million patients annually.

Sunfox Competes in Cardiac Monitoring and Diagnostics
Sunfox Technologies operates in the cardiac monitoring and diagnostics segment, competing with players such as AliveCor and Tricog.
The broader remote cardiac monitoring and portable diagnostics space has also attracted funding and expansion activity. Monitra Health has raised fresh capital for its remote cardiac monitoring platform, while Molbio Diagnostics continues to expand portable point-of-care diagnostics through its battery-operated Truenat platform.
With the latest Series A funding, Sunfox Technologies plans to deepen its presence in India while building global go-to-market capabilities and continuing investments in portable diagnostic technology.
