Speaking at the company's AI Forum, Cognizant CEO Ravi Kumar said the initiative has already generated roughly $200 million in additional sales pipeline and is expected to reach $1 billion by the end of 2026. The system scans internal communications and business interactions to uncover customer needs, emerging risks, and potential service opportunities.
Developed in partnership with Workfabric, a startup co-founded by Rohan Murty, the platform creates digital representations of customer accounts by combining insights from multiple business functions. This enables AI models to understand customer challenges in real time and recommend relevant solutions.
According to Cognizant, the technology can identify patterns indicating customer concerns or changing business priorities and then suggest specific service offerings that could address those needs. The company believes this approach allows sales teams to proactively engage clients rather than react to issues after they arise.
