Consuma, a startup aiming to disrupt traditional research methods such as surveys and focus groups, has raised $1.3 million (roughly Rs 11.16 crore) in a seed funding round led by Equirus InnovateX Fund, with participation from prominent angel investors including Abhishek Goyal, Mekin Maheshwari, Bhavik Dholakia, Harsh Shah, Arnav Kumar, Shiv Kapoor, Biswa Kalyan Rath, and others.

According to a press release from Consuma, the money raised will be used for both domestic and international market expansion and technology development.
Consuma, an AI startup founded in 2021 by Abhilash Madabhushi, seeks to transform the way that companies carry out consumer research. Consuma gives brands access to quicker, more comprehensive, and more affordable insights by substituting AI-driven analysis of digital behavior for conventional surveys and focus groups.
Consumers are evolving at a faster rate than ever before, so brands must adapt their research techniques accordingly. The founder of Consuma, Abhilash Madabhushi, stated, "We are developing technology to bring consumer research into the era of AI - driving differential insights in minutes, not months."

Consuma claims that brands can conduct research in 30 minutes as opposed to two to three months, at a tenth of the price, and analyze 1000 times more data. The company claims that it has already partnered with over 35 international brands, such as Godrej and Britannia, in less than six months since its public debut.
