Rifa AI, a startup focused on developing human-like voice AI applications by using conversational artificial intelligence (AI) platform, has secured a pre-Seed funding of USD 1.1 million with Seaborne Capital leading the round, and NASSCOM and FalconX also joining the round.
The raise will be used to expand its North America operations, as well as develop its conversational AI platform and create highly compliant, modular and scalable voice automation technologies to address the needs of more heavily regulated industries that require higher compliance standards, Rifa said in a press release.
Key Highlights
- Rifa AI raises $1.1M to scale human-like voice AI for regulated industries.
- Conversational AI platform enables real-time, compliant voice automation at scale.
- Voice AI agents integrate seamlessly with enterprise systems, transforming contact centers
Rifa AI is a revolutionary conversational AI platform co-founded by Sameer Fulzele and Shubham Khoker in 2023 to help change the customer service experience in regulated industries. The platform is meant to allow the contact centres to reconstruct their systems in the light of intelligence instead of human labour.

Rifa AI suggests that its conversational AI platform manages to roll out Voice AI Agents at large scale, and integrates with existing systems of an enterprise, without any disruption. With its trends toward the use of powerful AI models, well-structured decision trees, policy-based workflows, as well as backend APIs, it guarantees the possibility to interact with the voice in near real-time, completely autonomously, and still comply with industry regulations, like HIPAA and TCPA.
“We’ve built for complexity from day one, and this funding will help extend our platform to more enterprise customers. Our focus is on scaling voice workflows in sectors where human involvement has traditionally been essential due to compliance challenges. As AI agents become mainstream, the real question is whether they work where it matters most in high-stakes environments,” said Sameer Fulzele, Co-Founder of Rifa AI.
