Employability platform and integrated training in higher education, Emversity has raised $30 million (Rs 271 crore) in a Series A fundraising round headed by Premji Invest and involving Lightspeed and Z47.
With this round, the company now has $46 million in total capital.

Beyond Odds Technologies, which runs Emversity, was founded in April 2024 by Vivek Sinha, a former COO of Unacademy. Matrix Partners India (Z47) and Lightspeed led the initial $11 million seed round.
In a pre-Series A round headed by Lightspeed and Z47, with participation from Alteria Capital and InnoVen Capital, Emversity raised $5 million shortly after its launch.
The additional funds will be utilized to increase Emversity's footprint to more than 200 campuses, bolster its expertise in healthcare and hospitality, and establish new verticals in manufacturing and EPC.
Additionally, it intends to investigate access to specific global workforce demand for talent trained in India and improve its technology platform covering career discovery, training, and employability results.
Emversity collaborates with academic institutions to include work-integrated, industry-aligned training into degree programs. Through the alignment of academic learning with practical workforce requirements, the platform aims to improve employability results.

In collaboration with the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), it also operates employer-linked skill centers, especially in the healthcare and hospitality sectors.
Emversity says it has grown to 4,500 students on 40 locations in less than two years. Particularly for industries experiencing a labor shortage, its initiatives are created in collaboration with employers to establish reliable talent streams.
Currently, the brand supports jobs in the healthcare and hospitality industries, placing students in major hotel chains and hospital chains.
