Modern travel accessory company Escape Plan has raised $5 million in a funding round led by Jungle Ventures, Fireside Ventures, and a number of angel investors through its First Cheque@Jungle campaign.

The money will be utilized to launch quick commerce services, increase retail presence, and attract new customers. As it collaborates with well-known brands to provide one- to two-hour deliveries in strategic cities, Escape Plan is also making investments in production and capacity planning.
Abhinav Zutshi and Abhinav Pathak, the former co-founder of Perpule (which was acquired by Amazon), founded Escape Plan, a company that caters to both everyday and leisure travelers and specializes in travel necessities like backpacks, passport covers, and neck pillows.

Within the next 18 to 24 months, the Bengaluru-based startup hopes to expand its physical store count to over 100, having already opened locations in six to seven cities.
Through its own platform, the brand offers both partner-manufactured and in-house products for sale. In India's rapidly expanding travel gear market, it faces competition from other direct-to-consumer (D2C) players like Mokobara, Nasher Miles, Uppercase, and Acefour Accessories.
