Noida-based data privacy and compliance startup GoTrust has raised US Dollars 400,000 in a pre-seed funding round led by Aevitas Capital Private Limited, with participation from several angel investors. The fresh capital will be used to increase product development, expand the team, and support the startup’s growth in both domestic and international markets.
Established in 2023 by Himanshu Gautam, GoTrust offers an inclusive platform to help organizations navigate complex global data protection regulations. Its core offerings include consent management, data mapping, and risk assessments, all intended at simplifying acquiescence processes and building customer trust.
GoTrust’s privacy compliance set integrates seamlessly with current enterprise systems, enabling businesses to automate critical functions. Key features include automated data discovery, data subject rights (DSR) automation, third-party risk management, and centralized policy management. The platform also comes prepared with a DPO Runbook, offering directed compliance tracking for major regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, and India’s DPDPA.
The startup claims its solution can replace uneven, manual compliance workflows with a secure, accessible, and user-friendly alternative option that allows businesses to reduce risk, save time, and improve digital trust. Intended to be adaptable across company sizes, GoTrust plans to serve both startups and enterprises during the increase in regulatory scrutiny worldwide.
With data privacy becoming a boardroom primacy, GoTrust is entering a fast-growing market that includes global players like OneTrust, Securiti.AI, and SISA Network Intelligence. The company’s mission is to enable organizations with tools that safeguard compliance while keeping footstep with evolving data protection standards.
