Masters of the Pitch Wealth Talk Turns Sport IIFL Capital Wins

InvestValue's Masters of the Pitch: Wealth Meets Cricket

Finance Outlook India Team | Tuesday, 23 September 2025

A corporate cricket league aimed at making conversations about wealth as engaging as the sport itself has concluded with IIFL Capital being crowned champion and HDFC Securities finishing as the runner-up.

Nearly 500 members of India’s wealth community gathered on September 20 at the Andheri Sports Complex for the InvestValue Corporate Cricket League – Masters of the Pitch. Fourteen teams from leading financial institutions participated, competing not only for sporting glory but also to foster valuable discussions about wealth.

The day-long tournament fused strategy, discipline and teamwork—the hallmarks of both cricket and sound financial planning. Conceptualised by wealthtech platform InvestValue, the event invited corporate professionals, financial advisors and investors to step onto the pitch and experience how the long game of investing mirrors a well-fought cricket match.

“We see wealth management as a journey, much like a cricket match – it’s about strategy, patience, and making the right moves at the right time. With Masters of the Pitch, we want to make conversations about wealth simple, engaging, and accessible,” said Tushar Bopche, CEO and Co-founder of InvestValue.

The league showcased more than sporting prowess. Women players competed alongside men, and family-friendly entertainment zones encouraged community participation. Each six hit by any team unlocked a free Know Your Child education-planning toolkit from Invest4Edu, linking on-field excitement with real-life financial readiness.

Industry heavyweights such as Anandrathi, Bajaj Finserv, Centrum Broking, Chola Securities, Elite Zone, HDFC Securities, IIFL Capital, InvestValue, Invest4Edu, Labdhi Securities, Neo Wealth, SBI Securities and Yes Securities fielded teams. YES Securities’ top executives, including MD & CEO Anshul Arzare and Head of Program Dhiraj Padiyath, joined other veterans to cheer from the stands, reinforcing the league’s role as a premier networking hub for wealth professionals.

By nightfall, IIFL Capital emerged victorious after a spirited final against HDFC Securities, taking home the Masters of the Pitch trophy. But the larger win, organisers said, lay in the lively exchanges on financial wellbeing sparked between innings.

InvestValue, a multi-issuer wealthtech platform known for AI-driven insights and simplified investment solutions, positioned the event as part of its broader mission to make wealth management transparent and inclusive.

“This is more than a sports event. It is a step towards building a financially aware community where the thrill of cricket and the discipline of wealth creation meet,” Bopche added.
