What should consumers know?
Although prices were unchanged today, fuel costs remain higher than they were a few weeks ago.
Petrol and diesel prices were recently increased by around ₹7.5 per litre after crude oil prices surged due to the ongoing West Asia crisis.
The government has also increased the export duty on diesel and aviation turbine fuel (ATF), while keeping the duty on petrol exports unchanged.
Cooking fuel has also become more expensive. The price of a 14.2-kg domestic LPG cylinder in Delhi was increased to ₹942 from ₹913 earlier this month.
Commercial LPG prices have also gone up, while CNG and PNG prices have seen recent revisions in some cities, including Mumbai.
With global crude oil prices still under pressure, consumers and businesses will continue to watch fuel prices closely in the coming weeks.
