    State Bank of India (SBI) has been honored with the prestigious titles of “World’s Best Consumer Bank 2025” and “Best Bank in India 2025” by Global Finance. The awards were presented during the Global Finance Award Ceremony held at the World Bank/IMF Annual Meetings 2025.

    In a statement, SBI highlighted that the dual recognition underscores its role as a global banking leader, committed to innovation, financial inclusion, and superior customer service. The awards acknowledge the bank’s efforts in delivering world-class banking experiences to its vast customer base while maintaining technological leadership and expanding services across India’s diverse regions.

    Challa Sreenivasulu Setty, Chairman of SBI, expressed gratitude for the recognition, emphasizing the bank’s daily dedication to excellence. Serving over 520 million customers and acquiring 65,000 new customers daily requires substantial investments in technology and digitalization.
